The Winter Blues - Creative Stitching Workshops at French General / Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 24th, 25th and 26th 10-3pm

Join us for a day, or three, in January 2025 to celebrate our upcoming Spring collection with Moda, Sacré Bleu. Filled with shades of blue, including indigo, woad and ceil blue, Sacré Bleu is sure to be a classic blue and white collection.

Our workshops will feature fabric from both Sacré Bleu and our new French General Ginghams in shades of red, natural and blue. Both of these collections will not be released until March 2025 - so this is a great chance to get a sneak peek and work with our upcoming fabrics.

If you are heading to California for Road to California Quilt Show, visit us at French General in Los Angeles. We will not be exhibiting at the show this year, but our shop will be open on Friday, February 24th, Saturday, February 25th and Sunday, February 26th for students only.

Friday, January 24th 3-7pm

The Blue Fleur Tote

Using a newly made large linen tote and a handful of antique French blue floral fabric, we will create a fun hand-stitched motif using the Broderie Perse technique.

Saturday, January 25th 10-3pm

The Grande Hobo Bag

Using 2" Hexiforms and the new collection of Sacré Bleu, we will make up a fun drawstring hobo bag. All materials, lunch and aperos are included in this workshop.

Sunday, January 26th 10-3pm

The Blue Boro Tool Roll

We continue with more hand-stitching on Sunday using one of our linen tool rolls and our upcoming collection of Sacré Bleu and our new French Ginghams.  All materials, lunch and aperos are included in this workshop.

We look forward to spending the weekend with you in our shop in Los Angeles.

Workshops will be limited to 28 students and French General will be open to students only.
