The Blue Toile Book with Mandy Pattullo / Saturday, April 5th / 9-12pm PT ZOOM WORKSHOP

This past summer in France Mandy was working on the most beautiful book project - filled with her unique stitches and old fabric. Using old blue and white toile, and Mandy’s distinctive stitching style, I knew it would make a great on-line workshop for fans who love her creative point of view. Although we won't be working with the same old fabric Mandy found in France, we will be using old and new blue toile we’ve collected over the past twenty years.

If you love decorative, story-telling fabric and the color blue, you will be inspired to start this book with Mandy and continue to add to it as you find special bits. Mandy will be teaching from her beautiful studio in Northumberland, UK and coming to you via Zoom.

Everything you need to create the Blue Toile Book will be provided - including vintage toile fabric, antique linen for book pages, solid FG fabric for backing the pages, sewing thread, floss skeins and thread winder, templates, snips and vintage mother of pearl buttons. Due to vintage fabric, kits will be different!

Mandy's step by step instructions and fabric collage ideas are also included.

This project is perfect for beginners who are interested in learning Mandy's stitching techniques - as well as experienced stitchers who want to increase their knowledge of decorative stitching.

Kits will be sent out in March and the Zoom workshop link will be sent to you a few days before the workshop. Mandy will send you instructions on how to cut the linen for book pages prior to the workshop.

Be sure to have fabric scissors and an iron nearby for the workshop.
