Four Patch Quilt
$ 350.00
This pretty Four Patch quilt using 2" squares to connect the blocks is an unusual pattern and one I don't see very often. The fabrics are all 19th century - although I have to wonder if the quilt was made a little later - maybe 1910-1920?The double pink cottons combined with the variety of browns, blacks and the white ground shirtings make up a pretty, fresh combination. The piecing and quilting are all done by hand and the muslin binding is machine sewn. The backing is also muslin. The batting is probably cotton and is fairly thin. There are a few age spots on this quilt which will probably come out with a soak.
